A chamber drama about Lída Baarová and Zorka Janů
The encounter between Lída and Zorka is not a story about a trial or a documentary search for truth, but a story of inner human conflicts — two sisters looking at each other as into a mirror. The famous Lída Baarová as a person yearning for everything and everyone, stripped of her film charm: only pure action, behaviour and emotion remain. Zorka Janů as that "good girl" who was consumed by the transparency of her own soul and the shadow of her famous sister.
Martin Doucha and Adéla Kalusová draw from the dramatic work by Milena Štráfeldová and transform the text in their own artistic vision into a chamber form.
