A Dog's Hour
A storm so fierce that no one would take a dog out in it drives three women into the back room of a bistro – the only thing that initially connects them. They barely know each other and keep their distance. Yet gradually, each reveals her problems, fear of loneliness, desires, and dreams. An energetic manager admits that everything is different than expected. A single mother selling lingerie in a boutique masks her insecurity with a pragmatic view of the world. A mysterious intellectual waiting for a partner she has broken up with doesn't know how to move forward.
Funny moments alternate with dramatic ones, the outside world reaches them through mobile phones and text messages. The weather doesn't improve – it even starts snowing – they celebrate a fictional birthday, and champagne and cognac appear. The women dance, sing, and are forced to spend the night together in a locked establishment. A waiter, based on his own experiences, moves the plot forward, judges, and complicates matters – and he doesn't like women.
