HIT
"And I would scream, but they have places for people who scream." – Charles Bukowski
What must we all scream to be seen? What must we all show to be heard?
The solo performance HIT explores the theme of emphasis, exaggeration, and extension in the act of a blow. A play with non-aestheticized physical gesture that overflows into action, image, word, and text — through a minimalist approach to theatrical action, impact, radicality, and anger transformed into the language of everyday life.
The performance loosely follows the author's solo Pitch from 2015, presented in the Czech Republic and abroad, and the work of the author duo Bárta-Třešňáková (2010 – Tak přesně o ráji... to není; 2014 – Sticker – nominated for Performance of the Year and the DNA New Network Award).
Performance HIT is English friendly — Czech with English subtitles.
