Guided Tour: TITANIC – The Artifact Exhibition
PVA Expo Prague Letňany, Prague
Special combined guided tour: Titanic and its era + Women aboard the Titanic
The tour is led by two lecturers. Mgr. Gabriela Nácarová, a history and German language teacher, will guide visitors through the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries from a woman's perspective – her perception of technological, cultural, and political changes as well as transformations of everyday life depending on social status. Mgr. Evžen Nácar, a history and social sciences teacher and lecturer at the National Technical Museum, will explain the key historical events of the era when the Titanic set sail: the waning of the Second Industrial Revolution, migration waves, and growing tensions before World War I. Both lecturers complement each other during the tour.
The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes and is limited to 26 participants who can ask the lecturers questions. After it ends, you can explore the exhibition on your own until closing time at 19:00 – including listening to the audio guide in the Smart Guide app.
