POLOČAS MARTINY PREISSOVÉ — Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media, Jindřichův Hradec

Martina Preissová brings her program Poločas Martiny Preissové to Jindřichův Hradec on Thursday, 16 July 2026. The performance takes place at the Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media, housed in a Renaissance Jesuit college from the late 16th century on Kostelní Street. Preissová reads from her book Tvá M. and delivers stand-up commentary on contemporary events, accompanied by guitarist Zdeněk Zázvůrka. This is one of three Czech dates on her tour. Admission is 300 CZK in advance, 350 CZK on the day of the event.

About the venue: Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media

The Museum of Photography and Modern Image Media (MFMOM) in Jindřichův Hradec focuses on photography and related image media. It is housed in a fully renovated Renaissance Jesuit college from the late 16th century, a listed cultural monument featuring valuable ceiling and wall paintings from the early 17th century. In cooperation with the National Technical Museum in Prague, it runs the permanent exhibition "Power of Media". The museum offers exhibitions of Czech and international photographers, educational courses, workshops, lectures and concerts.
