From My Window to Yours

The exhibition "From My Window to Yours" presents paintings by Eliška Matoušová and ceramics by Michaela Nejedlá. Eliška Matoušová is a painter from the Vysočina region dedicated to free painting – her expressive medium is the painting palette knife and oil paints, focusing on urban scenes and natural landscapes from Vysočina. Michaela Nejedlá (Ceramics at the Sundial) graduated from the ceramic secondary school in Bechyně in 2002 and has since devoted herself to creating hand-thrown garden and decorative ceramic works. Both artists share a sensitivity to material and colour, as well as inspiration from the Vysočina landscape – expressive paintings contrast with delicately textured ceramics inspired by nature. The exhibition takes place in Gallery M on Masaryk Square in Pelhřimov, housed in a historic townhouse decorated with traditional sgrafitto ornament.
