Guided Animal Feeding at Děčín Zoo 2026

Guided animal feeding is a regular feature of visits to Děčín Zoo on Pastýřská stěna. In May, June, and September, demonstrations take place only on weekends and public holidays; in July and August, daily. Guided feeding does not take place in adverse weather.
Feeding schedule: 10:30 Central American iguanas (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) and crested macaques (Tue, Thu, Sat); 12:30 giant anteaters; 13:00 caracals (Mon, Wed, Sat) and Arctic foxes (Tue, Thu, Sun); 14:00 red-necked wallabies; 15:00 Kamchatka brown bear; 16:00 capybaras.
Admission to the zoo (main season): adults 170 CZK, children 3–15 years, seniors over 65, and students up to 26 years 120 CZK. Tickets are also valid for the Paradise Islands exhibition in the city centre (Teplická 19). The zoo houses over 500 animals of 163 species, many of which are critically endangered. The zoo is accessible by public bus line 216 from the main railway station or on foot (approximately 20 minutes from the station).
