Aneta Langerová & Orfanik Orchestra Jakuba Zitka

A unique original project by composer and keyboardist Jakuba Zitka will be performed live at Jazz Dock. The stage will also feature singers Aneta Langerová and Dorota Barová.

Zitka's music combines postmodern jazz, electronics, contemporary classical music, rock, and alternative styles. He works with sonically rich textures, electronic sounds, and samples; his melodies are unconventional and harmonies dense, often transcending typical jazz categories. The music encompasses energy, melancholy, psychedelia, and humour – qualities evident in his earlier compositions for the bands Muff and NUO.

With a new instrumentation featuring brass instruments, these musical ingredients transform into composed and improvised music full of surprising shifts in dynamics and form.
