Tourist Trains: Český ráj and Jizera from Prague to Jičín and Turnov 2026

Czech Railways operates tourist trains on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 21 March to 1 November 2026. The express train "Český ráj" (Sp 1551/1552) runs on the route Prague Main Station – Nymburk – Křinec – Kopidlno – Jičín and back. It departs Prague Main Station at 07:55 and returns from Jičín at 16:51. A new feature for the 2026 season is the deployment of a modern barrier-free RegioFox unit, which has replaced older trains composed of a locomotive and passenger cars. The train is suitable for hikers and cyclists – it offers bicycle transport up to capacity. The route allows visits to Prachovské skály, Kopidlno with its castle gardens, Jičín with the Valdická Gate and Baroque castle. The "Jizera" train (line S35) operates independently on the route Mladá Boleslav – Bakov nad Jizerou – Turnov. Tickets are purchased through the standard Czech Railways and PID system.
