The Kolín Sugar-Beet Railway, built in 1894 as the oldest sugar-beet railway in Bohemia, offers regular weekend rides from May 1st through early October along its narrow-gauge track from Kolín-Sendražice to the terminus at Býchory. The 2026 season marks the 20th year of renewed operation (service resumed in 2007). Trains depart at 9:45, 11:00, 12:15, 13:30, 14:45, and 16:00. During summer holidays, the railway also runs every Wednesday. Steam and diesel locomotives alternate according to the current schedule posted on the website. Return tickets are purchased before departure at the Kolín-Sendražice station building; cash and card payments are accepted. Groups of 15 or more can reserve seats by phone or email.

The station area features refreshments, a children's playground with a trampoline and sandbox. A railway nature trail with seating and play elements runs alongside the track. The terminus at Výrovna has a campsite with a fire pit. The site includes a museum exhibition dedicated to the history of sugar-beet railways and sugar production in the Polabí region. For major events (Opening Ceremony, Cowboy Summer Finale, Beet Festival), cowboys on horseback "raid" the trains. Special rides on request are available any day of the week, year-round—ideal for schools, kindergartens, corporate events, or family celebrations. Two carriages are adapted for prams (no extra charge) and dogs travel for a dog ticket according to the price list. Accessible toilets are available free of charge in the main building and at Býchory station.
