A double bill of Wim Wenders' masterpieces: Wings of Desire (1987) and its spiritual sequel Far Away, So Close! (1993), both screened in a single evening.
Both films follow stories of streets, houses, and solitary human souls through the eyes of invisible and immortal angels—witnesses to human suffering and joy who descend among people and read their thoughts. Together they paint a multi-layered portrait of Berlin above the Spree River.
