Stoned to Death Showcase: Never Sol + Here + Bunkerer

An evening organized by the Pardubice-based label Stoned to Death, active since 2012. The programme features three performances: Never Sol will present their new album, the Vyškov band Here returns to the stage after more than thirty years, and Kladno's Bunkerer will premiere their new recording.

Never Sol will perform a concert for the album Rest Your Wound On Mine, released in late April. The recording, prepared over several years, captures a shift away from traditional song form towards more abstract compositions anchored in synthesizers and modular systems. The result is seven tracks.

Here, whose debut album Swirl from 1993 is among the key recordings of Czech shoegaze, returns to the stage on the occasion of a newly remastered version of this album, released this year by Stoned to Death. The band described their style as "flower noise".

The evening will open with Bunkerer and their new recording Kontrolní Orgán — minimalist carpenter synth, strict beat, and direct vocals in the spirit of worn-down EBM.
