TIGRAN HOVAKIMYAN – Tigran is in Town

Tigran Hovakimyan is a stand-up comedian of Armenian descent who speaks four languages. After secondary school, he tried a wide range of jobs — working as a kindergarten teacher, bartender, croupier, administrator at the Malaysian embassy, boxing coach, and construction worker. Eventually, he settled as an amateur actor in a children's theatre, where he learned to read an audience, respond to its energy, and work naturally with humour. From the children's stage, he moved to stand-up podiums, where he can rely only on himself — and that suits him best. In 2026, he embarks on his largest stand-up show tour yet across the Czech Republic with his special "Tigran is in Town". Each performance will be opened by one of the Czech stand-up comedians. Tickets are available at smsticket.cz, on the website kcct.cz, at the City Museum (Klácelova 11), and at the Cultural Centre office (Nádražní 397). The hall opens at 18:00, and the programme begins at 19:00.
