Extraordinary Playroom for Children – Playground for Squirrels

Playground for Squirrels is an extraordinary educational playroom for children aged 0–11, located at Villa Hans Ulrich in Ostrava from 18 March to 31 May 2026. The entire space is designed in the colourful world of illustrations by Vendula Hegerová, whose artwork adorns children's books, fine-motor and speech-therapy educational materials, as well as card and board games. The playroom combines fun, creativity, and movement – children can immerse themselves in engaging stories, explore a music corner, practise their speech, move their whole bodies, perform fairy tales, demonstrate finger dexterity, shop in a toy store, and try out rhymes and picture rhymes. There is also a photo corner, a balloon area, and a giant flip-book. The exhibition is designed for families with children and groups from kindergartens and primary schools. Admission includes a tour of the exhibition Colorama by Ivan Titor on the ground floor of Villa Hans Ulrich. The playroom is open Monday to Friday 14:00–17:00 and weekends 11:00–18:00. Admission: 70 CZK (adults), 50 CZK (seniors, students, children).
