The exhibition "Burned Villages", loaned by the Lidice Memorial, commemorates the tragic fates of communities erased by the Nazis from the map during World War II. Through photographs, documents, and personal stories, it maps the destinies of Czech and other European villages. The exhibition is on display at the Holocaust Memorial of Roma and Sinti on Moravia in Hodonín u Kunštátu, located on the site where a protectorate concentration camp for Moravian and Czech Roma and Sinti operated in 1942–1943 before their transport to Auschwitz II-Birkenau. The 2026 season is enriched with an accompanying programme: on 8 May 2026 from 16:00, a Commemoration of Victory Day takes place with a lecture by Daniel Garguláк "The Tragedy of Prlov" and a discussion about partisan Antonín Murka, whose daughter Cecílie Machovčáková and nephew Rudolf Murka will personally attend the event. On 16 May 2026, a lecture "Stories of the Ištvan/Ištvánov Families: Shadows of the Holocaust and the Search for Roots" will be held. Entry to the grounds, exhibitions, and displays is free; guided tours and educational programmes are charged. The memorial is open Wednesday–Sunday from 10 to 17 (April–October).
