Art in Your Pocket is a permanent educational exhibition at the Moravian Gallery in Brno, located in the Viceroy's Palace at Moravian Square 1a. It was created as the result of an experiment in which the gallery's educators became authors — their goal was to find a common point of reference in the field of visual art. The exhibition space is divided into six chapters that explore themes connected to the human being, objects, situations, and circumstances that surround us throughout our lives. Visitors will find works spanning different periods, artistic styles, and visual forms, including paintings, sculptures, statues, posters, and photographs from the gallery's collections. An integral part of the exhibition are information panels with concept cards. The exhibition was created by Michaela Gerichová and Robert Spurný. The exhibition was developed as part of the Viceroy's Palace Revitalization project co-financed by the European Union. Admission is voluntary. Please note: the exhibition is currently closed for technical reasons.
