Outdoor Game: Wandering Prague 2 – The Year 1945

The outdoor game Wandering Prague 2 – The Year 1945 takes participants through the Vinohrady neighbourhood, recalling the key events of 1945: the approaching end of the war, the longed-for freedom, and the climactic May Prague Uprising with the battle for the radio station. The route was created to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. It starts symbolically at Náměstí Míru and runs entirely through Vinohrady. The route is 3.6 km long and takes approximately two hours to complete. There are 10 stops along the way — at each one, players learn interesting facts about the location while following the chronological sequence of events from the war's final days. Correct answers earn up to 100 points (10 per stop). Participants who score 80 points or more by 31 December 2025 will be entered into a prize draw.

The game can be played on a smartphone directly at putovani.praha2.cz, or you can print a paper form and enter your answers online after completing the route. The route is also available in the Loxper mobile app. Participation is free, and both individuals and groups are welcome. Completed paper forms can also be handed in at the information centre of the Praha 2 Municipal Office.
