The exhibition brings together Irina Gheorghe's long-term exploration of space and time transcending the "here and now" through performance notation with Milan Adamčiak's graphic scores. The score becomes an environment that guides both future performers and visitors.

About the venue: AVU

The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (AVU) is the oldest art school in the Czech Republic, founded by imperial decree in 1799. As a public university, it offers master's and doctoral programmes in painting, sculpture, printmaking, intermedia, new media, restoration and architecture, with teaching based on individual studio work. The Academy's gallery GAVU, relocated in 2024 to Veletržní street, presents works by students, graduates and faculty.

About: Milan Adamčiak

Milan Adamčiak (1946–2017) was a Slovak composer, music theorist, and visual artist. He is best known for his graphic scores and experimental music, blending visual art with musical notation. He was a central figure in Slovak experimental and conceptual art of the late 20th century.
