The third edition of the Žižkostel in Motion festival runs from July 20–24 in the main hall of Žižkostel. In addition to workshops for adults, it offers daily afternoon classes for parents with children. The programme brings together contemporary dance, voice work, contact and theatrical improvisation, new circus, and movement theatre — the festival brings prominent figures from the Czech independent scene to Žižkov, including Ridina Ahmedová, Věra Ondrašíková, and Alžběta Tichá.

All-day admission grants access to all workshops. Monday programme:

- David Králík: Dance Training and Improvisation – 18:15–19:45

About the venue: Žižkostel

Žižkostel is a community centre housed in a reconstructed Czechoslovak Hussite church in the heart of the Žižkov district of Prague. Co-founded by Husitské centrum o.p.s. and the CČSH religious community in Prague 3, it has been working with local families since 2004. It offers cultural events, courses, social and therapeutic services, a low-threshold club for children and youth, and space rental including a large hall.

About: Jana Látalová

A graduate of the Duncan Centre Conservatory and HAMU, Jana Látalová is an active figure in Czech contemporary dance - working as a performer, choreographer and teacher. Through the Fosilie collective with Trpišovská and Švejdová she stages original productions at leading Czech festivals, while also passing on her movement practice to younger generations.
