Anna (Saga Garðarsdóttir) lives with three children and several animals in a house on Iceland. She makes a living — or at least tries to — by selling her paintings on tin in galleries. Her ex-husband Magnús (Sverrir Gudnason) is a fisherman who spends most of his time at sea.
