She rose to prominence through her collaborations with director Hlynur Pálmason in A White, White Day (2019) and Godland (2022), winning the Icelandic Edda Award for Best Supporting Actress for the former. She reunited with Pálmason for The Love That Remains (2025), which premiered at Cannes.
