For Me in the House Scanned

The House of Art invites you to the next installment of the workshop series "For Me in the House", which will take place on Wednesday, June 3rd from 4:30 PM at Malinovského Square.

The workshop will explore whether video can be stopped in time and transformed into a new work of art. Inspired by the exhibition "Distorted Image. Chapters from the Beginnings of Video Art", participants will work with exhibited videos, which they will "stop" using a handheld scanner and then transform further. An office shredder will also serve as an unconventional tool. Each participant will take home their own work in the form of a so-called distorted image.
