80 Years of Brno River Transport Celebration

Brno's river transport is celebrating 80 years of operation. The all-day event takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 to 21:00 at Bystrc Wharf, with free admission. The event is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Brno.

The main stage will feature bands POHLEDY and EVOLET, Silent Disco from 18:00, and Ukulele Orchestra jako Brno from 20:00. Hitrádio City Brno provides the music broadcast. For children and adults alike, there will be circus, theatre, participation from Brno Zoo, foam party, art workshops, bubble workshops, Dopravní klub Lužánky, photo booth, and face painting.

The expo zone will showcase boats, excavators, aquariums, and other equipment, with demonstrations from emergency services (firefighters, police, rescue workers) and a food & drink area. On the water, there will be enhanced boat service, free express rides to the dam, boat tours, and dam tours.

Shuttle transport from central Brno is provided by vintage trams and buses.
