On Thursday, May 14th in the evening, the Red Church in Ústí nad Labem (Church of the Apostle Paul) will host an acoustic concert featuring three performers: singer-songwriter Jiří Imlauf, singer-songwriter pivoňka, and the folk group Severní nástupiště, which has never performed in Ústí nad Labem before.

The performance will be entirely unplugged — no amplification.

About the venue: Church of the Apostle Paul

An evangelical church built in 1904-1906 to designs by Leipzig architect Julius Zeissig, in Romanesque Revival style with Art Nouveau touches in the interior. The striking brick-red facade earned it the popular nickname "Red Church". The nave vault rests on Visintini reinforced-concrete trusses - a construction technique borrowed from railway bridges and used here for the first time in a church. Declared a cultural monument in 1998, the building is jointly administered by the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church.
