Jiří Petrbok – Patient's Diary

The exhibition focuses on the theme of self-portraiture and presents the artist's work from the 1990s to the present as a continuous record of the changing "self". Self-portrait serves as a space of transformation, masking, and irony. Petrbok's visual diary weaves together pain, grotesque, humor, and anxiety, revealing identity as a process – fragile, ambiguous, and never definitively closed.
