Festival perlení takes place on 27 June 2026 from 17:00 to 22:00 at Špilberk Castle in Brno. This is the fourth edition of a summer event dedicated to sparkling wines — the tasting features Italian prosecco, French champagne, Spanish cava, and Moravian sparkling wines and pét-nat.

The programme includes live performances by musicians and DJs, a chill-out zone, and a sabrage workshop. Gastronomic accompaniment is provided by selected Brno restaurants and bars. Dress code: summer chic.

About the venue: Špilberk Castle

Špilberk Castle sits on a hilltop above Brno's old town and is one of the city's defining landmarks. Built in the 13th century by Přemysl Otakar II as a royal seat, it was later transformed into a massive baroque fortress and one of the harshest prisons in the Habsburg Empire. Today it houses the Brno City Museum (Muzeum města Brna) and is a national cultural monument - visitors can explore the casemates, permanent exhibitions and a lookout tower. The courtyard regularly hosts concerts, theatre festivals and the Summer Shakespeare Festival.
