STAR CLUB WEST
The brains behind Belgian band Star Club West is Nico Jacobs; the soul and heart is Chris Smet, who is also the main driving force behind the live version of Paramount Styles. On SCW's records you can hear echoes of Built to Spill, Yo La Tengo, Pinback and Tortoise – but live, it's rawer, louder and more urgent.

PLUM DUMPLINGS
Plum Dumplings released their third studio album Bezpečí last February. Dark synthetic textures and dense bass transform halfway through the tracks into rapidly evolving conclusions driven by a fast beat. The album came out on Indies Scope, with production by Jan Brambůrek (Tajný studio).

SCI POEMATICA
Sci Poematica is an audiovisual project by Brno-based artist Viktor Hanačík, whose work encompasses spoken word poetry, ambient soundscapes, experimental sound design and remixed visuals.
