Border Dissonance: Jarzmo (PL) + Kochlea + Skraj (PL)

Border Dissonance is a concert tour by three bands from three different contexts, created in the DIY spirit — born from collaboration and the need to cross boundaries of genre and geography.

Jarzmo comes from Małopolska and stands at the crossroads of genres and traditions. The duo works with nyckelharpa, percussion and two voices; drawing from Polish traditional music presented in progressive form, from stoner and noise music, and from environmental activism.

Kochlea is a Brno-based band playing bass, drums and saxophone. Their approach to composition and instrumentation is described as post-jazz, kraut noir or post-rock; they work with loops and interlocking riffs.

Skraj is an emo/noise band from Bydgoszcz, made up of musician-activists connected to the stoner and punk scene as well as the local cultural underground.
