MAOK will perform with their live improvisation in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Most. The concert takes place without applause between pieces and resembles a musical meditation rather than a classical performance.
The church itself has a remarkable history: to avoid demolition, it was moved along rails by almost a kilometre in 1975. As a Gothic structure weighing 12,000 tonnes, this relocation was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. After the move, it underwent extensive renovation and today boasts excellent acoustics.
