Musica Bohemica and Jaroslav Krček

On Whit Sunday, 24 May 2026 at 17:00, the ensemble Musica Bohemica under the direction of Jaroslav Krček will perform in the Church of St. James in Nové Hrady near Skuteč.

Musica Bohemica Praha is a chamber ensemble of eight musicians and two singers, led by Jaroslav Krček since its founding in 1975. The ensemble performs works written specifically for it, historical music, anonymous and folk pieces. It has released approximately fifty CDs, composed music for several films and theatre productions, collaborates with Czech Radio and Television, and has performed throughout Europe and abroad.
