Distorted Session 4: How Distorted Was the Image of Video Art?

The House of Arts invites you to the fourth instalment of Distorted Sessions, a series of accompanying programmes to the exhibition Distorted Image, dedicated to the origins of video art.

The programme is divided into two parts. The first is a guided tour with curator Lenka Dolanová, focusing on women video artists and their (non)presence in Central European video art. The second part is a workshop with artist Tomáš Ruller, which will explore various ways of presenting video art on the media formats used in the 1980s and 1990s.
