Hidden Beauty of Stones – May

A geology programme for enthusiasts takes place on 23 May 2026 from 9 to 15 hours. Participants will gather at a pre-arranged location where, under the guidance of geologist Ing. Jiří Šafařík CSc., each person will find their own piece of limestone from the Moravian Karst and shape it into a collection stone – grinding and polishing it.

The programme also includes a visit to an interactive exhibition dedicated to the formation of limestones, caves, and other karst phenomena.
