Burácení – Music and Poetry Festival

Friends of Jan "Burác" Buryánek are organizing the third edition of the Burácení music and poetry festival at the Žlutý pes club in Pardubice, where Burác and his band Spiknutí performed repeatedly. Jan Buryánek was a Pardubice-based lyricist, musician, and poet who played in the bands Spiknutí, Marná sláva, and K.R.K. He died in 2007 at the age of 33. The festival takes place every spring on his birthday.

The musical program features the bands Pepino, Nová Zvěř, Špičková kultura, Metanoia, Plující, Spiknutí, and Ready Kirken (unlimited version). Poetry also takes center stage — the Divadlo Exil has prepared readings from Burác's poetry, and Slam Poetry Praha will also perform.

The club opens at 17:00, and the program begins at 18:00. Advance tickets cost 300 CZK, door admission 350 CZK.
