Schools – Heracles the Strong

A journey into Ancient Greece for the youngest visitors to the National Gallery. The programme guides children through the world of Greek mythology and introduces them to the hero Heracles – his story, adventures, and the moment of concentration captured in works of art.

The programme aims to awaken children's interest in paintings and sculptures through their own experience and sharing of stories.
