In Croatia, where conservative thinking still prevails, we follow Valentina – an experienced dancer who refuses to abandon her passion – and Tea, a trans man at the beginning of his transition seeking acceptance and his own community. Their meeting gradually grows into a strong bond based on mutual support.

Grand Prize is an intimate film about identity, courage, and the search for closeness in the world of ballroom, where dance means much more than just movement.
