Velodrom Brno (capacity up to 15,000 visitors) hosts a tribute to the legendary Live Aid concert that took place in 1985 at Wembley Stadium. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of this event, six tribute bands will perform. Part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

About the venue: Velodrom Brno

Velodrom Brno in the Pisárky district is the oldest surviving and still-active velodrome in the world, opened on 21 July 1889. Its 400 m covered concrete track hosted the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in 1969 and 1981. The venue has been managed by sports club TJ Favorit Brno since 1957. Alongside UCI races and daily training, the arena also serves as a cultural venue for large concerts and, since 2024, the Pop Messe music festival.

About: Queenways / Queen Tribute Band

Queenways is a Czech Queen tribute band made up of professional musicians active on both the domestic and international scene. The group is fronted by Jaroslav Břeský, whose vocal timbre draws comparisons to Freddie Mercury. Their live set draws on Queen's classic hits, and in 2024 they released an original tribute album available on Spotify and Apple Music.
