Saxophonist Štěpán Markovič and his band AghaRTA GANG perform at Agharta Jazz Centrum in Prague on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at 21:00. This is one of two Czech dates on their tour. Agharta Jazz Centrum sits in a Gothic cellar in the heart of Prague's Old Town and has been a leading jazz venue since 1991. Markovič brings modern jazz with a distinctive sound and long-standing musical chemistry alongside keyboardist Ondřej Kabrna, bassist Vladimír Kliment, drummer Michal Hejna, and percussionist Imran Musa Zangi.

About the venue: Agharta Jazz Centre

AghaRTA Jazz Centrum is a jazz club set in a Gothic cellar in the heart of Prague's Old Town. It opened on 29 September 1991 — the day after Miles Davis died — and takes its name from his 1975 album. Top Czech and international jazz musicians perform here every evening. The club also organises the year-round AghaRTA Prague Jazz Festival and sells recordings from the ARTA Records label.
