Good Times Only + KULE + Objects

Prague band Good Times Only (GTO) is releasing their third full-length album, "Tohle mi ještě nikdy nikdo nedělal" ("No One's Ever Done This to Me Before"). Unlike their previous records "Pěkný chvíle" (2020) and "Teď na to myslim" (2023), this time they chose a path of greater creative and studio freedom without producer assistance. On the first two albums they worked with Jakub Kaifosz (Lazer Viking, Wild Tides); this time they only occasionally consulted with Nikola Šolaja (Kvietah, Atomy Nevadí), who serves as mixing engineer on the record.

Songwriting is more straightforward, with all five members composing in their home studio at their rehearsal space, with occasional visits to the friendly Space Tape studio. The pilot single GTFO from October 2025 was created in collaboration with producer fiedlerskim (Mirai, Ben Cristovao, Marcell).

The five-piece boyband's sound has shifted toward greater intensity - distorted guitars, rock influences, and abrasiveness have been added. Among the references in working versions was the band Deftones. Alongside piercing guitars, you can hear rich synth textures, dirty breakbeats, and restless piano. Despite this sonic density, the lyrics remain intelligible - GTO's Czech lyrics are clearer than ever before. Typical love songs and reflections on crumbling relationships alternate with confessions about inner insecurities, patterns of toxic behavior, fear of the future, and experiences with therapy.
