420PEOPLE: KINTSUGI

KINTSUGI is a new choreography by Václav Kuneš and the 420PEOPLE ensemble. It draws inspiration from the Japanese technique of repairing ceramics with gold, where cracks are not hidden but remain visible as part of the object's story. Each break and each repair is unique and cannot be repeated.

"It is not about returning to the original state, but about finding a new way for things to hold together," explains Kuneš.
