Battle of the Pianos in Semily

A concert by two pianists and composers, Ondřej Brzobohatý and Ondřej Brousek, lifelong friends, takes place at KC Golf in Semily. On stage, they combine their musical performance in a programme full of virtuosic piano playing.

The Brousek - Brzobohatý duo has prepared an evening programme brimming with musical jokes for two pianos. They answer questions such as: How would "Fate" sound if Beethoven had been an optimist? Why do we cry at banal film dialogue? What is "inappropriate" music? Can the "Battle of the Pianos" have a winner?

The concert will feature a W. Hoffmann Professional P206 concert grand piano, provided by the event's partner, C. Bechstein (www.bechstein.com).
