Czech Pole Art 2026

Sat, 14 Nov 2026 · 08:45 — Sun, 15 Nov

Czech Pole Art 2026 is the fifth edition of a competition continuing the legacy of six previous Czech Pole & Arts Sports Championships organized by the Czech Pole & Arts Sports Association (ČESPAS). We took over the organization of the competition from ČESPAS at the end of 2021.

This competition stands out from other pole dance events through its emphasis on artistic expression - competitors have freedom in choosing elements and can use props to convey their theme. It complements the portfolio of pole dance competitions in the Czech Republic. The goal is to provide competitors with quality conditions and continue raising the level of pole dance.

Saturday evening features a judges' showcase performed by Dan Aerial.

About the venue: KD Plzeňka

KD Plzeňka occupies a classicist building that served as a coaching inn in the first half of the 19th century. In 1862 Bedřich Smetana gave a concert here to raise funds for the National Theatre. After a major reconstruction the venue reopened on 2 September 2015 as a multifunctional cultural centre with a main hall, the smaller Klubová scéna, and an industrial-style club called Kotelna in the courtyard. It is run by Městské kulturní centrum Beroun.
