Vivi Doesn't Live Here

An original puppet fairy tale about the punk fairy Vivi.

Vivi possesses an unusual power — an enormous strength that she struggles to control. Everyone constantly tells her what to do, directs her, and criticizes her, so she decides she doesn't need anyone in her life. Simply to be punk.

The performance is a work by the theatre Anička a letadýlko, founded in 2003 at DAMU. It works with puppet, object, and dramatic theatre forms, original music, and a distinctive visual style. Anna Pola uses an almost diary-like approach to explore themes of love, freedom, courage, and relationships — presented as a fairy tale for both children and adults. Petr Pola collaborates on the dramaturgy.
