FEST IN 2026: an evening of theatrical improvisation by Studio Melíšková_Strahovský and Divadlo Járy Pokojského. What happens when wheelchair-using actors and ambulatory actors meet on the same stage without a single line of script in hand?

"Our goal is to show that improvisation and the joy of creation know no physical limitations. On stage, differences fade - everyone becomes a co-creator of a shared world in that moment."

Admission is on a pay-what-you-wish basis, with proceeds supporting the operation of Divadlo BARKA, an open cultural space without barriers. More information at https://www.studioms.cz/divadlo-barka

About the venue: BARKA Theatre

Divadlo BARKA is a barrier-free community theatre in the Královo Pole district of Brno, operated by the civic association Liga vozíčkářů (Wheelchair Users' League) since 1994. It is housed in a 1925 Constructivist building originally built as a Hussite church. The 150-seat hall with a 9×9 m stage serves around 40 ensembles per year, including amateur, integrated, student and professional groups. The theatre has no resident company of its own, acting instead as a venue provider and festival organiser.
