Zábřeh Residents by the Water — Zábřeh Museum, Zábřeh

As autumn arrives, we reluctantly say goodbye to summer fun, especially the pleasant moments spent by the water. In the Zábřeh Museum, we extend summer a little longer.

About the venue: Zábřeh Museum

Muzeum Zábřeh occupies the Renaissance house Pod Podloubím, considered one of the finest surviving examples of a burgher house in northern Moravia. The mazhaus-type building with Gothic cellars was remodelled in the second half of the 16th century, when its tower and arcade were added. Run by the Regional Museum in Šumperk, it holds a permanent exhibition on the history of the Zábřeh area, a dedicated section on local-born explorer Jan Eskymo Welzl, and collections ranging from Václav Hollar prints to folk paintings on glass.
