Salty Kisses
Měšťanská beseda, Plzeň
Audrina Brown has inherited her father's beachfront hotel, which has become a popular wedding destination. But she soon discovers a major problem: her uncle Bubba is running high-stakes gambling parties in the barn. Meanwhile, the local wedding planner Madame Coco has disappeared, leaving no one to care for the engaged couple and the groom's mother who have arrived to plan "their day".
Bubba therefore disguises himself in women's clothing and pretends to be a charming lady ready to arrange the finest floral decorations. But another man moves into the hotel – believed to be a federal agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which is hardly welcome news given the illegal gambling.
The mother-in-law, meanwhile, is determined to sabotage her daughter's wedding at any cost, because nothing – starting with the groom – is noble enough. She hires a receptionist to seduce the groom. But the receptionist mistakes him for the supposed secret agent, triggering an endless cycle of wedding cancellations and re-announcements. The situation escalates, mistakes and mix-ups pile up – and Cupid's arrow strikes even the bitter mother-in-law.
