Famous Musicals and Film Music

The ensemble MUSICA FESTIVA brings its concert Famous Musicals and Film Music to Plzeň on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at the Church of the Evangelical Methodist Church in the South Suburb district. This is the sole Czech date of the tour, offering audiences celebrated melodies from classic musicals and films performed by a stellar cast of soloists and instrumentalists. The programme features works by Webber, Bernstein, Mancini and other composers, ranging from Memory from Cats through Think of Me from The Phantom of the Opera to Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's. The performers include soprano Bronislava Smržová, violinist Šárka Trávníčková, oboist Gabriela Plachá and guitarist Petr Štěpán.
