Radka Fišarová presents the concert programme "A Tribute to Édith Piaf". In symphonic arrangements, world-famous songs from the repertoire of Édith Piaf and Charles Aznavour will be heard, along with poems by Jiří Žáček set to music and French film melodies.

Fišarová is accompanied by Aliaksandr Yasinski (accordion), Miroslav Linka (guitar), Petr Dvorský (double bass), Ondřej Kabrna (piano) and Radek Doležal (drums).

About the venue: Měšťanská beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.
