OFF/FORMAT Gallery, Brno

exhibition culture active

This exhibition builds on an earlier presentation of the same name and transforms the gallery into a working and research space.

It includes a series of workshops led by selected artists and artistic collectives that focus on exploring and sharing ideas in the field of environmental education.

About the venue: OFF/FORMAT Gallery

OFF/FORMAT is a small independent gallery tucked in the courtyard wing of a building on Gorkého street in Brno, founded in 2011. It focuses on presenting young, mostly Czech artists and deliberately stays open to different media and content - the name itself signals a refusal to be pinned down by categories. The gallery regularly hosts exhibitions and runs an open call called VÝTĚR, pairing artists with art theorists.
