Music in the Bass!

What is it like to play the double bass? Philharmonic musician Adam Honzírek introduces this instrument with a fingerboard as long as a legal document and explains where the "walking bass" actually comes from. The programme also explores how musicians manage to move such a large instrument and why they need a strong commitment to stay with it.
