MOONSHYE & Martina Trchová
Moonshye is a Silesian singer-songwriter whose music is personal and atmospheric - sometimes deeply intimate, at other times unfolding into layered arrangements. She released her debut album Curtain of the Moon in 2021, and in recent years has performed occasionally while focusing on family life and songwriting. At Kafara, she will present new songs in both English and Czech.
Martina Trchová is a singer, guitarist, visual artist, and songwriter whose work blends experimental folk, blues, indie pop, and jazz. In autumn 2024, eight years after her Angel-award-winning album Holobyt, she released her fourth album 90 % štěstí (Indies Scope), produced by Martin Kyšperský of the band Květy. The album was nominated for the Angel Prize 2025 in the folk category. Her new songs capture feelings connected to motherhood and family loss, while also observing details of everyday urban life.
At Kafara, she will perform as a duo with bassist Jaroslav Panuš, featuring electric guitar and looper.
